Hi Brenno,

If you will check the Fechin Studio Bookstore in Taos, NM you will find a wonderful folio of some of his drawings and all other publications... For me Fechin was the GREATEST of them all as a draftsman. I love his paintings as well...

Good luck finding what you are looking for.... Be well,

Terry Gates

Hi Brenno—

I do have the book and the reproductions are for the most part exquisite. There's a couple where you can tell they either had an old transparency or slide, but most look to be very high-res fresh captures or scans. Virtually all the Balcomb drawings are represented, with many more. I highly recommend the book, the production values are superb.

Hi, I've come across your website searching for more info on Fechin's drawings. I wonder if you managed to purchase the book on Fechin's drawings that you mention; and, if so, could you comment on the quality of reproductions? I have Balcomb's monography on Fechin, which displays some of his drawings, but I find that sometimes they are either printed too small or slightly out of focus, which is truly a pity...
